Since 1989 Colours has been staging and promoting dance music events all over Scotland and beyond. With a conscientious attitude that has seen off many of the original 'rave' promoters, they continue to rise in the estimation of the most important people in the dance music industry. With their unbreakable commitment to quality music and by pioneering the best new sounds and the best in international DJ talent, Colours have always remained way ahead of the pack.

Over the course of the last 2 decades Colours have developed in tandem with the ever evolving club scene, refusing to stand still and become stale, but to innovate and continually try fresh ideas to push the clubbing 'envelope' ever wider. Colours has experienced at first hand the journey from early warehouse parties and hastily organized gatherings, through huge 'arena' type events, to todays climate of corporate clubbing in multi million pound luxurious purpose built venues. Colours have had fabulously successful residencies in Ayr (Ayr Pavilion), Stirling (The Fubar), Edinburgh (The Vaults, Club Mercado, Potterrow, Honeycomb) and Glasgow (The Arches, The Tunnel, Archaos).

Add to this some of the most spectacular one off events ever seen in the UK- 'Eurodance' at Prestwick International Airport, 'Live in the Capital' at The Royal Highland Centre, Edinburgh, 'Summer Exposure' at Glasgow's Tramway Theatre, Homelands, Ayrshire and Aberdeen, ‘EH1 Music Festival’ as well as the annual clubbing legend that is 'The Streetrave Birthday Party' and you will begin to see that there is much in the Colours CV to be reckoned with, and also a profile second to none in the UK. Colours have hosted parties across the globe from Europe - Ibiza, Cyprus, Tenerife, Turkey and Greece to America, New York and Miami, and organised parties in Australia, Russia and Malayasia as well as hosting Coloursfest in Glasgow on the first Saturday of June every year since 2002.

Colours have worked with, and built up extremely good working relationships with, some of the biggest names that dance music has seen over the years including Carl Cox, Pete Tong, Paul Oakenfold, Tiësto, The Prodigy, Sasha, John Digweed, David Guetta, Frankie Knuckles, Steve Angello, Roger Sanchez, Armin van Buuren, Mark Knight, Erick Morillo, Ferry Corsten and Paul van Dyk to name but a tiny percentage. It is these solid working foundations and mutual respect that have allowed Colours to continue to produce parties of the quality that are rarely (if ever) surpassed - most certainly North of the Border and even on a global scale.

Colours now host monthly events at The Arches, Glasgow on the first Saturday of every month, plus one-off events at venues up and down the country such as City Nightclub, Falkirk & Edinburgh and Karibu Klub, Glasgow to name a few. Don’t forget the large scale events at Braehead Arena & Waterfront, The Royal Highland Centre, Ingliston and The SECC, Glasgow (Colours were the first promoter to hold a dance event in The SECC for over 15 years). The annual birthday party in February has brought together some of the country’s finest line-ups, including John Digweed, Ferry Corsten, Steve Angello, Paul van Dyk and Eric Prydz to name just a few. Colours are one of the only promoters in Scotland that book DJs from almost every genre and has the strongest following of all the nights are Glasgow’s legendary venue, The Arches.
